Even though your rug may look clean, normal settling of dust is abrasive and will shorten the life of your rug. Due to the time and the process needed to properly clean rugs, our experienced specialists will pickup your rugs and take them to our offsite cleaning facilities.
Rug Cleaning
All rugs go through a thorough pre-cleaning inspection process to find any problem areas that need special attention. CleanTEK starts the cleaning process by neutralizing the colors to prevent them from bleeding and to lock in the dyes. We pre-treat and spot clean the entire surface area of the rug. We pre-treat the fringes with a cleaning solution and scrub them to return them to their original color. We also deodorize the rug front and back in a contamination bath, if needed. We soak the rug in cold water to revitalize the natural sheen of the fibers and then rinse the front and back of the rug to remove all dirt and get rid of any residue. All rugs are then sent through a wringer to rinse out any remaining water, and conditioned to a beautiful sheen and luster.
All rugs are air dried for approximately 4 hours where the sun revitalizes the bight rich colors without harming the natural dyes. Finally, your rugs are brought to our specially prepared drying room and hang dried for 24 hours.
